The first 3D laser scanner designed for large surface inspection that supports automated and autonomous measurement systems. In a world where large-scale objects still require speed, accuracy, and versatility, traditional scanning methods are often inadequate. The AS1-XL can scan even the largest objects in a fraction of the time required by traditional methods.
The AS1-XL boasts a unsurpassed measurement standoff distance of 700 millimeters, with a working range of plus-or-minus 300 millimeters either side. That means reliable inspection is possible at up to a full meter from the 3D scanner. A key benefit of that huge standoff is inspection within deep cavities and other hidden areas. And when it comes to automated inspection systems, the large standoff of the AS1-XL makes it simple to program robot pathways that all but guarantee the avoidance of collision events.
The Absolute Scanner AS1-XL complements the popular Absolute Scanner AS1. Both are Cross-Platform scanners meaning they can be used with Hexagon’s Absolute Arm 7-Axis, Absolute Tracker AT960, or shared between the two.
Our SHINE technology allows you to digitize almost any surface type. Up to 1.2 million points per second of high speed, high-quality data without spray or stickers.
The modular concept of the AS1 allows for quick and easy serviceability, as well as device sharing between measurement teams and locations.
Digitize large surfaces quickly with a large 600 mm laser line and a 700 mm measurement standoff for inspection of cavities and hidden areas.
