The first 3D laser scanner designed for large surface inspection that supports automated and autonomous measurement systems. In a world where large-scale objects still require speed, accuracy, and versatility, traditional scanning methods are often inadequate. The AS1-XL can scan even the largest objects in a fraction of the time required by traditional methods.

The AS1-XL boasts a unsurpassed measurement standoff distance of 700 millimeters, with a working range of plus-or-minus 300 millimeters either side. That means reliable inspection is possible at up to a full meter from the 3D scanner. A key benefit of that huge standoff is inspection within deep cavities and other hidden areas. And when it comes to automated inspection systems, the large standoff of the AS1-XL makes it simple to program robot pathways that all but guarantee the avoidance of collision events.
