
EVAT and Hexagon organized an EV seminar in Thailand to promote electric vehicle adoption. Hexagon showcased CAE simulation technologies for electric vehicles, focusing on optimizing performance and safety. The seminar brought together stakeholders from the automotive industry and professors from various universities to discuss challenges and opportunities. Attendees gained insights into integrating autonomous features into electric cars and the benefits of electric and autonomous vehicles. The event facilitated knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration, fostering innovation in the electric vehicle sector. Overall, the collaboration aimed to accelerate Thailand's transition to electric and autonomous vehicles.

Position/ Background Profile: Mr. Krisda Utamote is the President of the Electric Vehicle Association of Thailand (EVAT). EVAT is a non-profit association, aiming to promote and support knowledge exchange in electric vehicle technology and innovation. The association also provides consultation on regulations, standards and operation, regarding the development of electric vehicle technology in Thailand. There’re currently over 400 members who come from the private sector, state enterprises, and academic fields. The association constantly held a monthly meeting to exchange knowledge and distribute tasks in separated group works to support the electric vehicle industry for a sustainable growth. In addition, Krisda has been working with BMW Group Thailand for over 20 years. He served in various functions in BMW Group Thailand, including dealer development, sales planning and brand management for MINI in Thailand. In his current position, he is responsible for managing corporate and product communications for BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad business units, as well as corporate affairs for BMW Thailand, BMW Manufacturing Thailand and BMW Financial Services Thailand. |

Position/ Background Profile: Nuksit graduated in bachelor’s degree from Chulalongkorn University in 1997. He obtained master and doctor degree from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Japan in 2003 and 2005 respectively. He has a strong background and experiences in Automotive Engineering and Future Mobility and has 16 years teaching and research experiences in vehicle dynamics at Chulalongkorn University. He is a Co-founder of Smart Mobility Research Centre at Chulalongkorn University and continuously acts as a secretary for 9 years. He has participated in Thailand Society of Automotive Engineers (TSAE) since 2005 and currently contributes as a Vice President of TSAE in research and development division.
