The Race Line Finishing Cycle (Preview*) targets electric vehicle production, while the addition of Multiaxis Machining and Rotary Machining revolutionizes five-axis operations. Significant enhancements for milling operations include improved chip prevention, air machining prevention, better cut increments, and fixture avoidance.
Rough milling cycle witness introductions like SWARF Clearance, enabling better tool management by tool life, and turning enhanced grooving with a new modifier. Wire EDM operations benefit from smart tag removal and triangular tags, intended to prevent premature detachment of cut pieces.
In essence, EDGECAM 2024.1 fuses enhanced control and smart toolpath separation, delivering efficient, agile, and precision-based CNC programming.
